Initial Days at Photography---Please do read it

         I was interested in capturing views which I liked from childhood but I was not given the camera much. My family had a camera, which is still present. I was only a kid that time and I was not allowed to shoot much of photos as I might spoil the shots since digital cameras were more than a decade away. I shot my collection first at my cousin sister's marriage and everyone appreciated my photography because I was the only one in the entire family who shot from starting till ending of the marriage. After that I slowly grew big and saw that my cousin brother bought a digital camera from Sony. The initial Cybershot. It gave very clear pictures and chance of seeing and deleting them. It was almost like magic to me. As I was still very young to handle those things, I was not given that much of a chance to shoot until I grew a bit bigger.              

         I went to my college for studying computer engineering and I saw that many students had digital cameras which they used for shooting the photos in the college functions and events. I was also hooked for a camera and demanded from my father. My father clearly told me that those friends of mine are from rich families and I am from a middle class family who cannot behave like a spendthrift and it was not affordable at all for my family. 

          That time I did not understand it much. I used to ask my friends and my cousin to shoot my photos. I used to tell them to transfer the photos in my computer and I used to experiment with Adobe Photoshop for enhancing them and giving effects in them. As magic was a part of my life, I started to give magical effects to my photos.

       When I was working in a college as a lecturer, I thought of buying a digital camera and fulfill my passion. It was too costly for me to afford but I waited for some time and bought a wonderful compact camera, The Nikon S520, since I had a weakness for Nikon which I still have. I have shot quite number of photos and still shoot with that camera even today. Many of the photos you will see here are shot using that. It was recently that photography sprouted in me as a deep-rooted passion which I love. This passion was so deep sprouted that I bought a professional Digital SLR, The Nikon D5100 which is a wonderful camera. I know that learning about the camera will take huge time and experience.
